Founding associated of the Group is Conapi, Consortium of bee-keepers and organic producers, born in 1978, and who is engaged on honey working process and of other product from the beehives and jams.

2005 production has been of 20.000 quintals of honey of which 50% from organic framing and it represents the 20% of the national production.

The production process

The honey comes from the associates directly to the implanation, controlled and stocked in function of the botanical and geographic origin.

In order to respect the characteristics of naturalness of the product, the working process is extremely delicate: the honey is filtered, homogenized, conditioned in jars and never submitted to higher temperatures than 40 degrees. This process (clearly different from the one used for industrial honeys who are postorized at 80-90 degrees) protect the nutritional values of the honey.

About jams, all fruits used come from organic farming.
Our implanation is completely automated and innovative, the baking method is under vacuum and it is really helpful to reduce preparation time keeping the natural chemical-physical and organolepticals characteristics of fruits. For the preparation of our jams there are no sugars added, but only honey or organic grape juice.

Conapi has a system of management for quality certified UNI EN ISO 9001:00 and environment certification UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004 according to 761/2001 EC rules. Certification of traceability, for the honey’s row, UNI 10939: 2001.
